Anne’s a practitioner of the Franklin Method, which is a school of thought about exercise, posture and health. Here, she and Dai warm up by bouncing balls into one another’s limbs to encourage their proprioceptive awareness — that is — to heighten their awareness of their muscles and limbs.
After we watched them warm up with this method for the first time, we started mimicking them at home using grapefruits and various sized citrus fruits. Take 30 seconds in the morning before you head off to work and give it a shot before leaving the house. You’ll definitely start to feel more alert and aware of your body.
